Twenty & Six Espresso located in North Melbourne is a popular cafe throughout the day. We arrived at 10:45 am and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for a group of 5. It was easier to accommodate smaller groups of 2 and 3. Once our wait time was up we were given the table by the window which made it a little hard for the group of 5 of us to have a conversation – so this was a tad bit annoying. We did ask to change to the end of a communal table but were told that we couldn’t move.

If we were to look past the seating arrangement and talk about the food – I must say it is one of the prettiest and appealing dishes I have ever seen at a cafe. The presentation of each and every dish is well thought out and the pieces placed to perfection! The flavours complementing each other as well are an added bonus! One gripe however with the menu was that there wasn’t much of selection for me on the Breakfast menu – as the headlining dishes contained alcohol or pork. I had the Le Alumelle and the serving size was generous and the combination of flavours was different and tasty. The creme fraiche was fresh and the dill flavour added an extra zing to it. My friends did enjoy their dishes and the variety in the combination of ingredients used.
